BNG Consultancy
Client: Fenway Homes
Service: Independent Review, Advisory & Off-Site Unit Brokerage
Fenway Homes appointed ReVerte to review a Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) metric that appeared unusually high for the scale of their development. During this review we discovered a technical error within the metric, by uncovering this we ensured the calculation reflected a fair and fully compliant valuation. This correction protected the project from unnecessary costs while maintaining complete alignment with BNG policy, ecological integrity, and the principles of nature-positive design.
“We asked ReVerte to review a Biodiversity Net Gain metric on one of our sites. Their input saved us a considerable sum while keeping the project fully compliant and environmentally sound.”
- Duncan Vercoe, Director, Fenway Homes
BNG Brokerage
Client: Gade Property Group
Service: BNG Unit Brokerage & Advisory
Gade appointed ReVerte as their Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) advisors and habitat unit brokers to support compliance with statutory BNG requirements for a portfolio of new housing developments. As off-site habitat units were required, ReVerte undertook a full review of the projects’ BNG assessments, ensured the mitigation hierarchy was correctly applied, and sourced suitable off-site units in line with all trading rules. This approach enabled Gade to secure legitimate, policy-compliant units at optimal value while maintaining a robust and auditable BNG strategy.
“Their market insight and practical approach saved us time and gave us confidence we were securing the right solution at the right value. It was a straightforward, professional experience from start to finish.”
- Will Dalton, Managing Director, Gade Property Group
